My uncle in in-law, Noll C. Derriksan, was known as an artist, a business man, and formerly as Grand Chief of Westbank First Nations. He promoted the growth of traditional and contemporary Indigenous art at “The Indian Arts and Crafts Society” in Vernon and created many contemporary pieces of his own.
